The Complex of Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine encourages the development of cutting-edge research in farm animal bio-sciences by combining the conceptual and practical skills of scientists involved in breeding and raising animals with the expertise of researchers and practitioners of veterinary medicine. By facilitating increased interaction and closer collaboration between the Department of Animal Sciences and the Koret School for Veterinary Medicine, human and physical resources will be best leveraged in research related to animal health and welfare.

Combined venues such as seminar rooms, a conference room, and shared equipment facilities will encourage faculty and student interactions, and to further facilitate such innovative collaboration, the following physical changes will be made:
